EVERYTHING You Need to Know About the 2024 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!

Get ready — your next trip to EPCOT is about to be a whole lot more flavorful, entertaining, and adventurous!

Spaceship Earth

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has officially begun for 2024 and there is a LOT to check out. Between the food booths, merchandise, entertainment, and more — planning for the Festival can be a little overwhelming, but don’t worry, we can help! We were live from the FIRST day of the festival, and we’re taking you along!

It’s happening! We made sure to visit EPCOT bright and early on day one of the festival. We were pumped up, energized, and ready to EAT!

The AllEars team is reporting for duty in EPCOT! We can’t wait to EAT.

The gang’s all here!

Come with us to explore everything you need to know about the festival this year.

Dates

The 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival runs from August 29th through November 23rd, 2024, so you’ve got plenty of time to check it out. Bring your appetite (and maybe a tray) because there is a LOT of food!

Crowds

Festivals at EPCOT can be a big draw for crowds, so that’s something to keep in mind. Particularly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, you can find some seriously LARGE crowds at EPCOT. So, if you have the chance, you might want to consider visiting the Festival during the weekdays for slightly lighter crowds.

People waiting for merchandise

We were at the Festival on its opening day and got a look at the crowds for ourselves. In the morning, there was a bit of line for merchandise at Creations Shop.

Creations crowds

But before the booths opened, World Showcase was pretty empty!

Where are the people?!

Later in the day, things really started to pick up in the World Showcase. We encountered a particularly long line at Brew-Wing in the Odyssey.

Line for Brew-Wing

Crowds were also heavier out in the World Showcase just walking around. We expect it will be worse around dinner time!

Outdoor crowds in the afternoon

Festival days can be absolutely hectic, so keep that in mind when planning your trip!

Atmosphere and Decor

In terms of atmosphere and decor, you’ll want to look all around EPCOT for signs, banners, and more that celebrate the Festival! At the front of the park, you’ll find a display in the center planter, making it the go-to photo op for many guests.

The front of the park display

Around World Showcase, they’ve got special festival banners as well.

Food & Wine

And then over by some of the new festival booths, we have a fall-inspired pumpkin display.

Harvest Hollow

But there are other touches of decor to look for as you walk around the park! Be sure to take the time to stop and snap a selfie or two to commemorate your visit.

Festival Passport

Free, useful, AND fun? This next souvenir is (in our opinion) a must-get for the Food and Wine Festival. The Festival Passport is something you can typically find a lot of right at the front of EPCOT, though you’ll also see it available at scattered locations throughout the park.

We picked ours up at the front of the park!

Within the Passport (which, again, is FREE to get), you’ll find menus for each of the food booths, details on the entertainment, merchandise, and more information that can be so useful for your visit.

Pages and pages of great information

It’s easy to carry around, take out at a moment’s notice, and look through as you’re strolling around the park.

Festival passport

Plus, the Festival Passport is where you’ll get stamps to mark each time you’ve bought a participating snack for Emile’s Fromage Montage so you can later redeem your prize (more on that later).

Fromage Montage information page

If you forget to pick up a festival passport, there’s a digital version available on the My Disney Experience app, too!

Food Booths

Now it’s time for the REAL attraction — the festival food booths! There are many returning favorites, as well as some NEW offerings, so let’s dig in.

Macatizers

This booth celebrates all things mac and cheese!

Emma at Macatizers

At this booth, we picked up FOUR different kinds of mac & cheese as well as the wine flight. That’s quite the spread!

If you’re a fan of all things cheesy, this is a can’t-miss! Plus, it’s located inside the brand-new CommuniCore Hall building, so you might want to check it out.

Festival Favorites

On the outside of CommuniCore Hall, you’ll find Festival Favorites, which pays homage to popular festival treats of years past.

Myranda at Festival Favorites

SO many delicious eats are available here, plus it’s right next to a large seating area. Is this booth a major winner?!

Which of these returning items was your favorite from years past?

Milled & Mulled

Over in a new festival area between the Imagination Pavilion and World Showcase, you’ll find a few new booths, including Milled & Mulled!

Milled & Mulled

Here, you can find one of our favorites — the Freshly-Baked Carrot Cake! They also offer a cheesecake and a pate brisee.

Even the drinks at this booth are interesting — a blueberry pie hard cider and a chocolate wine!

Bramblewood Bites

Also in the new festival section, you’ll find Bramblewood Bites.

Sage at Bramblewood Bites

This is your one-stop-shop for all things grilled! They’ve got pork tenderloin, grilled bison, and cast iron-roasted veggies. It’s an entire outdoor meal.

You can even dine on picnic tables!

Forest & Field

Forest & Field is a NEW booth at this year’s festival, and it’s home to earthy and savory eats with a splash of cheese!

Quincy at Forest and Field

Chili, ravioli, AND burrata? Count us in for some delicious fall flavors!

Look at that menu!

This will be a great booth to return to come October.

Swirled Showcase

Need a sweet treat? Well, our next stop was Swirled Showcase!

Swirled Showcase

This booth is home to a bunch of frozen treats, and it took us multiple stops to try it all.

They’ve even got Apple Cinnamon Soft Serve here — if that doesn’t scream “fall in Florida” then I don’t know what does!

Apple Cinnamon

This is a great booth to stop by at the end of the night.

Hawai’i

Who’s ready for some old favorites and some new treats? It’s time for Hawai’i!

Hawai’i Spread

We absolutely loved the Hawaiian Rice Bowl here, and that Slow-roasted Pork Slider is always a hit. Don’t skip out on this booth!

We love those tropical flavors!

Coastal Eats

Hoping to enjoy some seafood? Head to the Coastal Eats booth!

This one is returning from years past, including classics like the lobster tail and shrimp cocktail.

Shimmering Sips

For dessert and beverages, head to Shimmering Sips!

Here you’ll find the Mimosa Flight and the Guava Cake!

Flavors From Fire

Flavors From Fire is returning yet again with some BANGERS. The Smoked Corned Beef is back, and if you’re brave enough to try the Swine Brine, it’s here as well.

This booth is a go-to for those who want something savory and rich.

The Noodle Exchange

Summer may not be the season for hot soup, but if you’re in the mood, head to The Noodle Exchange!

This will likely be a really popular booth later in the fall!

The Fry Basket

Calling all French fry lovers, you cannot miss The Fry Basket! This year, they’ve got the iconic Fry Flight again, as well as the Adobo Yuca Fries that were beloved last year. On top of that, you can try two new beverages.

Whatever anyone tells you, French fries DO count as dinner if you want them to!

Brew-Wing

Over in the Odyssey Pavilion, Brew-Wing is back again! This is THE spot for wing lovers and some brews.

Here’s everything we got this year!

The items here are returning, including that infamous pickle milkshake! If you’re hoping to try something unique, you can get the PB&J wings or the Unnecessarily Spicy Yet Extremely Tasty Carolina Reaper Pepper Curry Wings.

But be warned — this booth was BUSY when we stopped by! The line was out the door and tables were hard to find.

Mexico

At the front of the World Showcase, we’ve got the Mexico booth!

Quincy ate at the Mexico booth!

The whole menu was brand-new at Mexico this year, and it was AWESOME. This was one of Quincy’s favorite spots throughout the day!

Honestly, we’re ranking this as a can’t-skip for 2024!

China

One of our returning favorites is the China booth! It’s located (you guessed it!) in the China Pavilion.

China spread

This year, there were two old items, plus one new one, the Shanghai Scallion Noodles — they come with shrimp!

What would YOU get at the China booth?

India

Between the China Pavilion and the African outpost, you’ll find the India booth!

India booth

There’s nothing new on the menu for 2024, but we do have some DELICIOUS returning items. This was one of our top booths for 2023 with the samosas, the Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Mango Lassi.

Did you try the India booth in 2023?

Refreshment Outpost

Refreshment Outpost is a year-round snack stand at EPCOT, but during the festival seasons, it gets some limited-time menu offerings.

The menu!

There’s no Kenya booth at the Food & Wine Festival this year, so several of the items at Refreshment Outpost are African-inspired. They’ve even got a version of Disney’s iconic Zebra Domes!

No need to go all the way to Animal Kingdom Lodge when you can get that Zebra Dome right here!

Germany

The Germany booth is back for another year and it has some of our faves yet again!

Germany

Of course, we couldn’t skip out on that cheesy pasta gratin or the sweet apple strudel with vanilla sauce. To top it off, we ordered the beer flight!

We just keep going back to Germany year after year!

The Alps

Love things smothered in cheese and chocolate? The Alps is the booth for you!

The Alps

Here you’ll find the Dark Chocolate Fondue as well as the popular Raclette cheese. This is one of our favorite spots year after year!

Find this booth in the Germany Pavilion.

Italy

Who’s ready for some PASTA? We know we are! Let’s head to Italy.

Emma tried the Italy items!

This year, the booth has Italian-style “Nachos” (which were incredibly greasy!), Polpettine Toscane, and Vanilla Cheesecake. That cheesecake was definitely the standout item!

Italy is not often one of our must-visit spots for this festival, so it might only make your list if you really like this menu.

Flavors of America

If you’re a hot dog fan, you don’t want to miss the Flavors of America booth this year, because that’s most of the food here!

Full spread

The various dogs are served in the styles of different regions of the U.S. And if you want dessert, you can snag the new Freshly-baked Chocolate Pudding Cake.

For those who hate hot dogs, this booth may be your worst nightmare.

Japan

If you’re in the mood for sushi, Japan is your booth!

Emma tried the Japan menu

Emma stopped by this one to get the NEW lineup, which included Eel Temaki Sushi, Wagyu Temaki Sushi, and the Kyoho Grape Sour to drink.

Some nice, cold sushi would be a great quick snack on a hot day!

Greece

The Greece booth is back for another year with Spanakopita, the IMPOSSIBLE Moussaka, the Griddled Cheese, and Lamb Gyro.

Find this booth near the Morocco Pavilion!

France

After that, we headed over to France for a BIG spread of eats and drinks!

France Spread

There were three new drinks, as well as a new Moelleux aus Oignons Caramelises! This booth is usually a favorite of those who are willing to eat adventurously — escargot, anyone?

What would you order from France?

Refreshment Port

Refreshment Port is one of EPCOT’s year-round snack spots, but during Food & Wine Festival, it gets the popular Braised Beef Poutine.

We also picked up some new beverages!

Entertainment

When it comes to entertainment, the big draw at this Festival is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

With Eat to the Beat, you get the chance to watch internationally-known artists and bands perform at the America Gardens Theatre (in the American Adventure Pavilion) for FREE on select nights.

Eat to the Beat

Generally, the internationally-known artists perform Fridays through Mondays. Tuesdays through Thursdays, local bands perform. Performances take place at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8PM each day.

To see a COMPLETE list of the performers for Eat to the Beat in 2024, click here!

Again, note that seeing these concerts is free, but certain popular artists can draw quite the crowd, which means the standby line to get a good seat for their performances can be VERY long. If there’s a particular artist you want to see, you may want to get in line early.

Another option is to buy an Eat to the Beat Concert Series Dining Package. These packages couple a meal at participating EPCOT restaurants with priority seating for one performance on that same day. It can be a good way of securing your seat without having to wait in a standby line.

Eat to the Beat 2022

Here are all the restaurants and pricing for each dining package that’s available in 2024:

At Spice Road Table, the pricing includes two small plates, a shared dessert platter, and a nonalcoholic beverage. At all other restaurants, the dining package includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert (or one full buffet/family-style meal, where applicable), along with a nonalcoholic beverage.

Spice Road Table

Advance dining reservations for Eat to the Beat dining packages are available now but the 60-day advance restriction does apply. Note that Regal Eagle Smokehouse Dining Packages are NOT available through advance dining reservations. Those are only available as a walk-up option on the day of your visit and are subject to availability.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

And of course, don’t forget to stop at the front of the park and catch the Spaceship Earth shows! They change them throughout the year to fit the festivals.

NOTE: Stay tuned to this post throughout the day as we share updates from our experience at the FIRST day of the Food & Wine Festival!
