There’s a lot going on this summer in Disney World, and it’s about to get even MORE added to its plate!

We know that there’s a new nighttime parade on the way, we could finally see Test Track reopen, and TWO new shows are opening in Hollywood Studios, among many other events, but now there’s more to add. Check out all the new announcements Disney just made for their Cool Kid Summer event starting May 27th!

There’s no schedule announced for this just yet, but we’re ready!
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom will introduce two new DJ-led dance parties happening this summer. Over at Storybook Circus, kids can enjoy dancing to their favorite tunes, as well as marvel at the stilt walkers and jugglers performing! Then, over at the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, you can join Stitch for another dance party, and head into Merchant of Venus nearby for a craft inspired by the upcoming film Elio.

It’s unclear what the schedule will be, but you can check the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
In addition to the two new shows opening up in the park on May 27th (“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” and “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After”), kids can also enjoy another experience over in Animation Courtyard.

Over here, you can watch magicians perform different tricks, see jump rope performers, and meet some special characters.
EPCOT
CommuniCore Hall is closing for a limited time to reopen as GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall on May 27th. Here, kids can dance along with the DJ’s tunes and take part in fun games like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks.

If you’re heading to the Flower & Garden Festival during the closure from May 12th-26th, though, don’t be alarmed — the Farmers Feast options are currently planned to be moved to the Florida Fresh booth outside.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Finally, over in Animal Kingdom, there are three new offerings this summer:
- Crafting activities over at Rafiki’s Planet Watch
- A new, limited-time Wilderness Explorer Badge
- An interactive sing-along with a Dino Institute Intern (keyword: interactive!)
